Question 4: How did you use media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages?

In addition to these we also utilised Photoshop as well as Microsoft Office Powerpoint to help create the images for digipak. Photoshop was very useful in the scaling and texturing of my images such as the images of the sun, earth, drum and bauble on the cover, allowing me to create a more artistic effect. Powerpoint was especially helpful in developing band shots and images of the band memebers as it allowed me to alter the contrast and saturation of the image as well as applying a filter to it to create a more cartoon-like look as it did for the tree. These two technologies combined well to produce very effective results. For our second ancillary text, we were tasked with creating a website. For this we used a site called Wix which allowed us to fully customise the layout and content of the site as well as embedding links, images and videos of the band themselves. Overall, we used a variety of technology to help create all aspects of our media coursework to a great deal of precision and quality.
